Forum Title: Garage Door Paint Stripping
I need to strip my Wood garage door, originally it was varnished (I think) but someone has painted over the varnish and in some areas the paint is separating from the varnish (especially top of door) what is the best way and least time consuming way to strip this door down to bare wood? would walnut shell blasting work?

Before you're told to move this to the DIY forum, Im just gonna say that if youre trying to strip it to restain it, I like to just sand I can down with and orbital, and maybe use stripper in the hard to sand spots. If you're just gonna repaint, I would just sand out any bad areas, spot prime, possibly with peel stop, then brush and roll two coats of something good. Thats a pretty big stripping job to do there. I wouldnt strip it bare unless absolutely necessary. From that bottom pic, it looks like its just weathered wood.
